Request Finance

In the Instrument Approval Workflow, the "Request Financing" step serves as additional approval on your side, as either a payer or a seller. It is only required however, if the Product to which the Instuments belongs to is to be finances and if auto sell was not enabled by the Funder. 

If the Instrument is to be funded:

  1. Review and approval can be sought from either the Payer or Seller

  2. The Maker initiates the review, ensuring accuracy and compliance

  3. The Checker then reviews the work to verify its correctness and completeness before it progresses

  4. Once the review is finalized and approved internally by the Payer or Seller, a notification of the request for finance is automatically sent to the Funder for their evaluation

  5. The Funder then has the option to approve or reject the instrument based on their assessment. The instrument will then move into the Disbursement stage and the Funder will receive the disbursement instructions. 

If the Instrument is not to be funded: The Instrument skips this step and will go to straight to "Mark as Paid Without Financing page." 


This approval step is configured by the Admin at the moment of setting up the Product Structure Workflow and the Deal with you.
